UDidentify is a sophisticated medical device barcode scanning application that harnesses your smartphone's camera capabilities to:

  • Efficiently scan multiple barcode variations
  • Confirm their adherence to GS1, HIBCC, and ICCBA standards
  • Validate them within the FDA GUDID database
  • Provide instant access to device-specific details

In cases where barcodes are challenging to read due to subpar quality, unfavorable lighting conditions, or camera malfunctions, manual entry is supported as an alternate method to retrieve the required information. Additionally, users have the option of employing continuous scanning functionality by pairing a Bluetooth scanner with their iPhone.

Upon becoming a registered member of UDidentify, the captured device data is conveniently stored in your scan history. Users can seamlessly export their scan history as a spreadsheet and forward it to an email address of their choosing.
